Legal Terms & Indian Laws Compliance
Employment & Contractual Agreements
All teachers will sign a legally binding agreement before starting.
The agreement includes clauses on work ethics, non-compete policies, and confidentiality.
Revenue-share teachers are considered independent contractors, not full-time employees, as per The Indian Contract Act, 1872.
Payment & Taxation
Payments are processed via bank transfers or UPI.
All earnings are subject to Income Tax Act, 1961.
GST compliance is required for revenue-share teachers earning above the applicable threshold under Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
Data Protection & Confidentiality
Teachers must maintain student data confidentiality as per Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
No personal contact with students outside the academy platform.
Misuse of academy resources will result in termination.
Non-Compete & Ethical Teaching Practices
Teachers cannot engage in private tutoring with academy students outside our platform.
Ethical conduct and professional behavior are mandatory, as per The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (for fair trade practices in educational services).
Strict action will be taken for any policy violations.
Who Can Apply?
We are looking for passionate and experienced Carnatic music teachers with:
A strong foundation in Carnatic Vocal or Instrumental Music.
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Proficiency in English, Telugu, Tamil, or Kannada.
A stable internet connection and good quality audio setup.
